Chrysocolla sat in the cave he had been hiding in to stay away from homeworld forces for a while now, slowly nodding his head to the quiet music he was listening too. It had been to long since he had seen another gem, but this scared him even more. Before, he'd know where he'd run into someone, but now anything could give him away if he does something out of the ordinary... But... Perhaps this was exactly what he needed to do? Was he just gonna stay trapped in this cave and let his fear overwhelm him forever, or was he going to take some sort of action to get himself out of this? He let out a deep breath and stood up. "Maybe it's time these guys faced the music." He walked out of his cave, it was directly next to a kindergarten, it wasn't necessarily abandoned, but there would only be a very small skeleton crew of Homeworld gems. If anyone. It was at this point that he decided to put out his hand, exposing his gem in front of him, his gem gleaming with a bright light as he summoned a bow, this bow - a deep blue - was a precaution as he started to turn up his volume. His music had enough bass to make the ground around him start to tremble. "Let's kick this up a notch or three", he said as he started toward the kindergarten. He knew that if he was attacked, he'd go down fighting, he needed a way not just to let others know he was alive - other crystal gems - but a way to let other gems know that the rebellion wasn't going to give up so easily. 'This is suicide' he thought as he continued to the kindergarten, 'I'm so dead.' His thoughts started to pollute his mind so he stopped in place... He closed his eyes from behind his shades and took another deep breath and cleared his mind. It was at this point that his musics beat started to pick up. 'There's nothing else for me here. If I don't do something... Anything... Then all of this fighting would be for nothing. I'll die for my cause.' He looked up and his eyes opened. 'Will they do the same?' He said as he started toward the kindergarten again, determined to make /something/ happen.

"Hmm, I remembered them to be bigger..." Spectralite was looking at the nearby Kindergarten from way up in the sky from her flying disk. She was seated upside down on the disk like it was a flying carpet, as her eyes appeared out over the desolated landscape, dotted here and there by a lone gem or an injector. From up her ahe would be but a speck in the sky. The painter was having a lack of inspiration as of late, and she thought that visiting this place from a distant might help her creativity in one way or another. She ussually felt at least something when she saw the useless efforts of Homeworld first at hand but it just wasn't doing anything for her today. Nameless drones moving from injector A to B and vica versa a hundred times on watch should have been a perfect example of futility. But... "Was that music...?"
Spectralite turned herself 90° towards the direction of the noise. A lone gem was blasting music in the wind, like a lone blue toad croaking towards the sea of burning stars above, hoping in vain that one of them would fall from the sky to ease his loneliness. Was she hoping that the coming inferno would incinerate her, or that the flames would dance around her serenade? It was either that or a fruitless effort of a rebel to distract a kindergarten for an attack. Either way, the effort seemed to have sparked enough in Spectralite to see what this lone toad was about. Spectralite approached from high up in the sky, only going down when she was already above the gem. Compared to the heavy beat, she could as well have been a fly bext to a jet engine. Only when she was flying about 2 meters from the Gem did she act, still seated upside down. The attempt to speak with the loud music still ongoing would be a futile endeavor, so Spectralite did the next best thing. She took a small pebble from her robe before letting it drop on the Gem's head, hopefully getting the attention from this Mystery Musician. chrysocolla

Chrysocolla instantly recoiled and drew his bow, the music draining as the sound was absorbed into it - leaving nothing but the sound of the breeze between the two gems and he pointed the bow directly above him. Since the gem above him was upside down, the arrow tip would be pointed directly at their head - but since the music drained - and it seemed this gem didn't really have a weapon out; nor did that pebble relatively hurt he didn't fire immediately. But the bow was still amplified by the sound he forced into it and he kept it drawn. "Whatchu doin' sneakin' up on a guy while he's casting a symphony?" The gem before him likely couldn't see the squint from behind his shades. He was tense, he didn't know who this gem was, or their intentions. Even while his bow was drawn he was bouncing in place, as though the beat had never disappeared. The arrow notched in his bow was fluctuating, as though it was seeking something to target even before he let it loose. The arrow took the representation of sound wavelengths that came to an arrow tip. They were fluctuating heavily - at first glance they would seem so spastic that if it got any more intense it would fly from the bow itself. "Don't you know sneakin' up on someone is a sure fire way to hear your last sound?" spectralite

Spectralite didn't seemed to expect such a violent and quick response, all though she should have expected to posibility, in hindsight. She flinched when Chrysocolla aimed her weapon but when it became clear that she wasn't going to fire just yet, she seemed to calm down slightly as she explained herself. The tone of her voice still betraying the fact that she did not expected this reaction, despite its matter of fact contents. "The first reason was that I didn't wanted to be spotted by anyone in the Kindergarten as I flew over. The second reason was that I did not think you would take notice of me otherwise. You were kind of loud."After speaking the Black and Blue gem flew down further towards Chrysocolla, slowly till she was about a meter away. She crossed her arms as she regarded the other gem. The fact that she was still upside down did not seem to bother Spectralite. The gem was just slightly taller than a Ruby or Saphire if ahe would stand tall, and now that she was seated she would be even less of an imposing figure. After she had made a full circle around Chrysocolla she spoke again, this time sounding more curious than anything else. "I was looking at the Kindergarten from on high for inspiration. What were you atempting to accomplish with your music? If you have the desire to end your existence by commencing a futile battle, there are more direct ways."

Chrysocolla took a deep breath and let a flick of his finger knock the arrow out of place, the sound that was trapped inside absorbing in on itself. Then, quietly, his music started to return. This song was different however, slower, softer, He then let his bow dissipate back into his gem. He cleared his throat before speaking. "Sorry about that I guess, I was a bit tense. I was trying to cause a ruckus to see if anyone would notice, ally or enemy. Not so much trying to die, but I have been kinda stuck a while. Seeing as how you didn't want the Kindergarten to take notice i'm guessing you're not under that big ol' thumb of the diamonds either, huh?" He stood quite tall for a non-fusion gem. Lanky, but taller than a jasper. His passive ability, to allow gems to be calm, focused and without stress while listening to his music would attempt to take hold on the Spectralite. His hands found their ways into his pockets as he tilted his head at the upside down gem as it went around him. "I guess I got someones attention though." He chuckled out. Chrysocollas voice almost sounded as though it was to a beat, and fluctuated in tone to the music beating around him. If someone were to squint and be paying especially close attention, they could see that the headphones he had on his head, part of his light form, projected different colors of light depending on the bass of the song. "So who are you anyway? And what did you mean by drawing 'inspiration' from the Kindergarten? That ain't no place for someone to skulk around to find a muse. Granted, with your floatin' I wouldn't think you'd have that much trouble keeping out of sight. But eh, still dangerous, what if a ship spotted ya or somethin'?" He addressed the gem before they had a chance to reply, "The name is Chrysocolla by the way, what's yours?" spectralite
